Finger independence

You can use this to increase your finger independence. Once you you can play this easier you should go back and try the other lessons. They will seem a lot easier now. I usually use a finger independence as an opener to my practicing sessions. With playing guitar finger independence is necessary. You need to be able to move your fingers separately from each other. When you go to a concert or watch a video on youtube, you see the awesome guitar solo that the lead guitarist performs, that requires years of practice and finger independence. 

Hand strength

This is the chromatic scale for guitar. You can use this to strengthen your hand. You put one finger per fret on the guitar. I would recommend that you should start slow then once you get familiar then you can speed up. 

Five Open Major Chords

Here are five open major chords to practice. I would recommend first mastering one before going to the other. Once you master these five then you need to practice switching from one to the other.

Intro

I have been playing guitar for 1 1/2 years. I had some trouble learning the basic skills needed to play better. It has taken some time, but I think I have a good enough grasp to relay my knowledge to other players in the world.
